Eileen Williams
Title: Assistant Swim Coach
High School: Brewer High School '88

Eileen Williams has been involved in several roles with Brewer Swimming & Diving for 15 years from coaching swimming to running the Hytek computer program.  Eileen returns for the 2022-2023 season for her fifth year as Lead Assistant Coach.

She primarily works with our athletes who are just learning to swim focusing on proper technique, posture and balance in the water.  Her enthusiasm and competitive drive is infectious and all swimmers, new and experienced, enjoy and learn from her.

Eileen was an on deck “Swim Mom” with the Bangor YMCA Barracudas from 2000-2002 and an assistant Coach with Hurricane Swim Club in 2005 and 2006.  Coach Eileen is always there to lend a helping hand with jittery nerves or with swim caps.  Adept in the technological side of swim meets, Eileen is an expert in running dual and conference championship meets and often is called upon to train others.

Eileen was a well-rounded athlete in her youth.  Not only did she participate in competitive swimming for several years in elementary school, she became a gifted basketball player.  At Brewer High School, she was a 2-year captain and Varsity Point Guard her sophomore, junior and senior years.  She was also a former Brewer school record holder in the Javelin!  Eileen is currently a member of the Brewer Athletic Hall of Fame Committee and she was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022 along with her husband John and sons John II, Brent and Josh for their contributions in the sport of swimming.

Eileen and her husband John own John Williams Construction, Inc. and Linda’s Maine Wild Blueberries, LLC.  They have three children, John, a 2012 graduate of Yale University; Brent, a 2010 graduate of the University Maine and a 4-year collegiate swimmer and 2 year team captain; and Josh, a 2017 graduate of Boston College and 4-year collegiate swimmer/BC Captain.  All three sons were 4-year, outstanding swimmers and record holders for Brewer High School.  Eileen and John live in Clifton with their three Portuguese waterdogs Moxie, Tori and Brady.
