Dr. Patrick Healy, DC, MS has been working with Brewer High School Athletics since the fall of 2011.  He is a Doctor of Chiropractic with a master’s degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation.  Dr. Healy’s experience and expertise managing athletic injuries provides the athletes of Brewer and their opponents with high quality care on and off the field.

 

Dr. Healy grew up in Holden, Maine, studied Biology at the University of Maine, and earned his master’s degree and doctorate from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO.  He has served the University of Maine Athletic Training program for 2 years by providing his office as a senior internship site for the students.  He has experience treating collegiate and professional athletes and received an award in 2014 for his involvement in a concussion study with the University of Maine and Logan College of Chiropractic. 
Since he started working with Brewer, Dr. Healy developed the athletic concussion policy, the emergency action plans for all of the athletic venues at Brewer High School and developed a network of specialists to ensure high quality, timely healthcare for Brewer High School athletes and their families.
