Gymnast Brian Campbell: 

The Brewer Boys’ Gymnastics Team won the 1979 Class A State Championship!

Brian Campbell, a star contributor to the championship win, excelled on the rings; Campbell earned the silver medal at the 1980 State Meet.  In the 1970’s and 1980’s, interscholastic gymnastics for both boys and girls was a thriving sport not only at Brewer High School but state-wide.
