1916 Baseball Team:

Penobscot Valley League Champions ~ first time in Brewer Baseball history!  Baseball is one of Brewer’s oldest sports first mentioned in the Trident Yearbook in 1905 as “a game between two fraternities that was cancelled due to weather”.  In 1914, Brewer joined the Penobscot Valley League.  In 1916, the Brewer Baseball team won the P.V.L. Cup for most games won in the league. Six out of nine players hit above .300!
