Cheer Leaders 1959:

Team spirit has been a huge part of the athletic experience since the first sports were offered at Brewer High School.  Cheer “Leaders” led the spectators at football games “in cheers and filled the football team with pep and courage by shouting cheers at the boys on the gridiron urging them onward into victory”!  In 1938, the Cheer Leaders began the yearly tradition of organizing a Bonfire Rally.  Over the years, Cheering has expanded to include cheering for the basketball teams and today cheering includes interscholastic competitions between cheering squads.
