1971 Girls’ Ski Team:
Girls’ and boys’ “Ski-Outing” was a club sport for several years. In 1971, Ski-Outing elevated from a club to a Team sport with interscholastic competitions. The girls began their first season with a winning record (4-2) and placed 7th out of 13 teams at the State Meet. The boys’ ski team also had a highly successful season winning 6 of their 8 competitions as well as winning the Eastern Maine Class B Championship.
