Sydney Blain joined the swim staff as an assistant swim coach during the 2022-2023 season. A 2020 Brewer graduate, her awesome work ethic and competitive drive enabled her to reach great heights over her 4-yr high school swim career. She was a two-time PVC Champion in the 100 yd. freestyle and a three time member of the PVC All-Star Swim Teams. She earned Brewer's Outstanding Swimmer Award in 2017, 2019 and 2020. Sydney was a member of the 2020 National All-Academic Swim Team as well as the PVC and Maine State All-Academic Swim Teams. Sydney brings to the swim team her extensive knowledge of all four swimming strokes and an understanding of what it takes to reach a high level of success in the pool. The team is lucky to have her on deck!
