Brewer High School will lean on BHS IT Technician Frank Rapp to serve as Head Coach of the E-Sports team.

The MPA utilizes "PlayVS" (<--link to PlayVs included) as the gaming platform for E-Sports and chooses League of Legends and/or Rocket League as the games that Maine High School Teams can participate interscholastically in.

For the 2020-2021 School Year, Brewer High School will compete in interscholarstic E-Sports in the "Spring Season" which begins on February 3rd, 2021. A tryout process will occur to get our roster of players in order. The games are a 3 against 3 format. 3 players from Brewer against 3 players from another school. How many groups of 3 we create will be determined later.

The Brewer School Department provides the machines, setting and coaching for the e-sports team. Players will need to provide their own access fee to the PlayVS network of games. Players will have an opportunity to purchase team apparel as well.
