BCS BOYS BASKETBALL COACHES

Boys "A" Coach: Mr. Mark Savage

2023-2024 will mark a return to the middle school basketball sidelines for longtime Brewer Basketball coach, Mark Savage. For the past 11 winters, Coach Savage has led the Brewer High School Freshman/1st Team Boys program under the direction of the two most recent BHS head coach, Clayton Blood and then Ben Goodwin. Coach Savage is a well respected teacher of basketball in the region, having led both Brewer varsity girls and boys programs as varsity head coach in the past. Prior to the 2023 State Championship for Brewer High School, Coach Savage led the Witches to their last appearance in a state championship boys basketball game, back in 1988.

Boys "B" Coach: Mr. Rob Dominick

2021-2022 marks the third season as the head coach of BCS "B" for Mr. Dominick.

Coach Dominick was a teacher at Brewer Community School so his connection to this kids will be invaluable to their progression and experience. More recently, Coach Dominick has taken a position with the State of Maine in their laptop and technology program, but will be returning to BCS after this stint ends.

Coach Dominick had volunteered for several years with the BCS basketball program, which made this an easy transition into the role as head coach. 

As of the Spring of 2020, Coach Dominick is also the JV Baseball Coach at Brewer High School. He has an extensive background of working with kids in educational based athletics.
